Vice-Chairperson

Amélie Lavictoire was appointed as Vice-Chairperson of the FPSLREB in July 2021.

Prior to her appointment, Ms. Lavictoire was General Counsel and Executive Director of two national appellate courts, the Federal Court of Appeal and the Court Martial Appeal Court of Canada. Previously, she held the positions of Executive Legal Counsel and Director of the Law Clerk Program of the Federal Court of Appeal, legal counsel in the Law Branch of the Supreme Court Canada as well as legal counsel in the Legal Services Branch of the Office of the Commissioner of Official Languages. She has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal, the Federal Court and various provincial and territorial superior and appellate courts. Ms. Lavictoire is a graduate of the French language common law program of the University of Ottawa and holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Psychology from Queen’s University. Ms. Lavictoire is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
