Chantal Homier-Nehmé

Chantal Homier-Nehmé brings to the Federal Public Sector Labour Relations and Employment Board (FPSLREB) extensive experience in labour and employment-related litigation and mediation in the private and public sectors. Having represented not only unions and employees, she has represented employers and has appeared before various administrative tribunals, as well as the Federal Court and Provincial Court of Ontario.
Prior to joining the FPSLREB, Ms. Homier-Nehmé held progressively senior positions for one of Canada’s largest trade unions. She worked as a practising lawyer at a boutique law firm where she developed her experience in dispute resolution, labour relations and human rights law.
Ms. Homier-Nehmé holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences with a concentration in Political Science, and a Bachelor of Laws degree National Program (LL.L – LL.B) from the University of Ottawa. In 2009, she obtained a Master of Law in Labour Relations and Employment Law (LL.M) from Osgoode Hall. She is a member in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada.
