Part-time Board Member

Drew Heavens joins the Board with over 34 years of labour relations and human resources federal public service experience. He has worked in labour relations with various government departments at the corporate and regional levels. Just Prior to being appointed as a part-time Member, Mr. Heavens held progressively more senior management positions with the Treasury Board Secretariat. While there, he worked collaboratively with both employer and bargaining agent representatives on a number of high-profile recourse-related policy/legislative files and initiatives.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Carleton University, and a Master of Industrial Relations degree from Queen’s University.
