Renaud Paquet
Part-time Board Member
Renaud Paquet holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Relations from the Université de Montréal. He has long been an associate professor at the Université du Québec en Outaouais, where his research work focused on collective bargaining, collective agreements and their interpretation, and labour relations in the federal public sector.
From 2008 to 2014, he was a full-time member of the Public Service Labour Relations Board and was one of its vice-chairpersons from 2010 to 2014. He was also president of the Canadian Industrial Relations Association, and from 1999 to 2001, he was a member of the Fryer Commission on human resources management in the federal public service, which led to the passage of the Public Service Modernization Act.
Mr. Paquet was appointed a part-time member of the Board on July 9, 2019.
